Over the years I have heard friends and family say “I can’t cook”. I like to encourage them by pointing back to what I call the basic recipe concept.

Basic recipe concept - When we do cook we want to create a consistent, quality dish or beverage/cocktail, over and over again. A well written recipe is the code you need to accomplish this. A high quality, written recipe will give you good results time and time again. That is what I do. I am a high quality recipe developer and food writer. I have developed over 1500 recipes for 7 different cookbooks. I am also a freelance recipe writer for resturants, magazines, newspapers, bloggers, family and friends.

My rate is $50 per hour*

Edit Existing Recipe: 2-4 hours (not including recipe testing)  

Create Original Recipe: 3–5 hours (not including recipe testing)  

*Scope of Work dependent on individual projects
